Jane Kinzinger has extensive executive level office experience and has been secretary on various other committees and volunteered to be Secretary for ONF because of her desire to give back. Most of her 23 years at Ford Motor Company were spent in quality and reliability improvements efforts. After retiring, she was a substitute teacher and secretary in the Ann Arbor Public Schools for four years. Jane is also very active in her church, serving on 2 committees, the Women's Chamber Chorus and mission work of the Philippine.
She spends all her retirement time volunteering for our troops, Veterans and families. For years, she has been sending packages to our deployed troops through her VVA Chapter and VFW Post. She also assists with veteran's dinners, marches in local parades, works in the Vietnam Veteran's booth at fairs, and visits VA Hospital patients.
Jane and John have a son who is the age of many of the young men who volunteer to protect our country. He is a college engineering student and was cut from the ROTC program due to a medical condition, however started a “ Support Our Troops” club at his high school and we supported his can-and-bottle drives and other fundraisers to raise money to send many care packages to the troops. He gained an appreciation for the sacrifice of our brave military as his parents have.
Jane states, “ONF allows me to give back in some way for the blessings I have been given. I consider myself to be very fortunate to live in this country and be able to work and worship as I please. I sincerely thank the men and women who keep us free – our military. God Bless the U.S.A.”
